Eloping in Costa Rica at the Tamarindo Diria

This little Costa Rica elopement took place in Playa Langosta, just south of Tamarindo. I LOVED all of the details, especially the little narwhal cake topper! The day went by without a hitch and it was the most perfect, intimate Costa Rica wedding that ever was.

Small Wedding at the Tamarindo Diria
Admittedly, this was more of a small wedding than an elopement. Although I usually prefer elopements, there were about 20 guests at this shindig and everyone was super laid back and creative, and we got a ton of wonderful photos.

My favorite small weddings are just that: small, simple and stress-free! This wedding had only 13 people attending, plus the bride and groom. It was super casual and FUN! They brought a boombox and a cooler of beer to the beach and had the first dance right there after the ceremony.

Lisa and Dan had a beautiful wedding ceremony at the south end of Flamingo Beach, Costa Rica. This is one of my favorite places to take photos! The light is always amazing out here. Such a sweet family!

Small Wedding at "The Point" (Langosta)
I LOVED this elopement in Playa Conchal! It was so much fun and the light was amazing. The couple was staying at a really cute boutique hotel covered in tropical gardens and flowers that were perfect for bridal portraits and photographing wedding details like the rings. They did a "first look" at the hotel, and then we hit the beach for a trademark Costa Rica elopement ceremony.

These were from a small, elegant wedding at "The Point" in Playa Langosta, just a 5-minute drive from Tamarindo Beach. I love these little coffee bean bag wedding favors. Super cute!
